Darul Shifa Mustufai Dawakhana, Meerut
With roots going back to before 1912, Darul Shifa Mustufai Dawakhana is one of Meerut’s most respected and oldest centers of Unani healing, renowned for its legacy of natural medicine, spiritual ethics, and service to humanity.
The journey began with Hakeem Mustafa, a renowned Unani physician and one of the early khalifas of Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi (رحمه الله). He was also a devoted student of Hakeem Ajmal Khan, a towering figure in Unani medicine. Hakeem Mustafa’s deep knowledge and expertise earned him recognition in the classic Islamic text “Bahishti Zewar”, where several of his effective remedies are documented.
With the vision to continue this noble mission, Hakeem Mustafa passed on his entire treasure of knowledge, medicinal formulas, and clinic (matab) to his son-in-law, Hakeem Buniyad Ali Siddiqui, who formally established Darul Shifa Dawakhana in Meerut. He dedicated his life to using Unani medicine to serve people with sincerity and compassion.
Today, this legacy is being carried forward by his son, Hakeem Arshad Ali Siddiqui, a skilled and experienced Unani practitioner. With the same dedication and respect for traditional healing, he continues to offer treatments that are natural, balanced, and rooted in centuries-old wisdom.
